Challenging creationist theories with a scientific approach, Evolution Game invites players to grasp the fundamental principles of evolution in an engaging and interactive way.

Enter the world of evolution with the Evolution Game, a unique and educational card game designed by Professor Karine Van Doninck in collaboration with illustrator Ophélie Lhuire and Ohme.

This 54-card game doesn’t just entertain: it offers players an accessible and practical way of understanding the gradual process of evolution.

Each card reveals a stage in the evolution of life, from the appearance of eyes in molluscs to the complexity of vertebrate brains. The game shows how the eyes and brains of various species have developed over time, illustrating that only cumulative and progressive changes lead to real progress.

Ophélie Lhuire

As a member of the Atelier Ton Piquant collective, she's known for her striking black-and-white and monochrome illustrations that beautifully marry art and science. Reminiscent of the world of Jules Verne, her detailed felt-tip drawings depict the complex internal and external structures of living creatures such as molluscs and crustaceans, balancing nostalgia with a futuristic touch.
